Earlier, on Tuesday, Allu Arjun visited the Chikkadpally police station for questioning as part of the investigation into the incident.

The court reviewed the actor’s regular bail petition, where he is listed as accused number 11. However, the police requested more time, and the court rescheduled the hearing to December 30.

Allu Arjun’s Arrest and Legal Proceedings

Actor Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 in connection with a stampede at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. He was presented before the Nampally court, which placed him in 14-day judicial custody. However, the Telangana High Court granted him four weeks of interim bail the next day, and he was released from jail on December 14.

On Friday, as the 14-day remand period was ending, Allu Arjun appeared before the court via video conference. He cited security concerns and wanted to avoid causing inconvenience to the public near the court.

The incident, which occurred on December 4 during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule, led to the death of a 35-year-old woman and injuries to her eight-year-old son in a stampede-like situation. Fans had gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the actor. Following the tragedy, the city police filed a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), based on a complaint from the deceased woman’s family.
